The traditional fluorescent lighting system was installed into service station canopys. The lighting being switched on for long periods resulted in extremely high running and maintenance costs. Texaco had to look for more efficient alternatives to replace their fluorescent canopy lighting.

A system that would provide the light levels, was easily installed and that would not required regular maintenance was required. Texaco replaced the lighting with the revolutionary FLpod LED signage system, which significantly reduces running costs and reduces the need for maintenance.

Problems also encountered previously with fluorescent canopy lighting was sporadic spots where the light fades or in some cases completely goes out. The FLpod LED system is consistent linear light with no gaps and guaranteed not to fade or fail. Texaco are now enjoying massive savings.
